If you were getting an install I'd understand it taking that long. But this is a service call for an recent install that either was miss provisioned, a bad box or both. That's no way to inspire customer confidence.

They sure as holy he!! better give you credit. I hope they gave you a ticket number and I hope you wrote it down.
rogue238 posted : When you say the channels "don't work" what exactly do you mean? Do they come in all snowy, say subscription service-for ordering information, or this channel will be available shortly. If locals are snowy and premiums state "will be available shortly"-possible signal issue. Were they working when the tech was at your house? Just need a little more info-thanks..

budone posted : Sounds to me you need a 'hit' again and also a confirmation on their end on what your box should have.

It took my tech over an hour and a couple of hits to get all the channels I was entitled to.

Have you tried the reset button on the lower right of the Moxi box??? When I unplug the unit, the reboot hangs up.

You may also want to go into (If you are comfortable in doing so)the internal menu and checkmark all but the last three update options. That has fixed a glitch I have when I can not access On Demand.

I do not know how it works in other markets, but here, if I checkmark the options the hit usually comes at the top of the hour.

ITICharlie1 posted : Sounds like they have you profiled wrong. Call them back on Monday and have them re-check. Also just to let you know...not all the channels are digital yet. They just finished phase 1. There was a list here in this forum of the ones that where changed. I too have the Moxi DVR and a way to tell which channels are digital is to scan through the channels using the up/down buttons. The digital channels tend to have lower volume, and tend to take longer to come up on the screen.
--

[CATV] Charter DVR

slcpd6469 posted : Just had DVR installed today. The picture, now that STL is all digital, is great. There is a very noticable difference now in quality. There is only one problem with it almost half of the channels 2-99 dont work and none of the movie channels work. I have all of them HBO,Showtime, Starz/Encore and the rest. Charter has no idea why. They had me unplug the box and restart it. They reset it. But none of this has worked. I now have an appt for Aug 3 but that is a long time away. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if so what fixed it?
