To those of you who didn't read the whole article:
"...The users (spammed) also participated in phone DDOS campaigns themselves, with thousands of angry calls on one day. An online magazine encouraged its readers to call on April 17, 2003 and pretend to sign up for the courses or request extensive information [2].
A culmination of the backlash were probably the actions of Andrey Korotkov, then Russian Deputy Minister of Communications, whose angry message addressed to ALC was recorded and sent every 10 seconds to ALC (Vardan Kushnir's business) phone numbers using the infrastructure of Russia's largest ISP...."
Talk about sticking it to a spammer... wow, I have respect for the russians. |

Not like the flow of UBE/UCE is going to slow down, he's bound to have a "Lieutenant" or some assistant that will assume control of ALC and his spamming "enterprise". Sort of like if something unfortunate were to happen to the likes of Alan Ralsky, Scott Richter, and Robert Soloway there will be someone to come along to take their places. |
