Not in Staten Island. They give out Ambit modems.

For what it's worth, I think NYC only gives out RCA modems, now that Toshiba doesn't make them.

I'm in SI and they gave me a Toshiba. This was of course like 1.5 years ago, or more, I can't really remember.
