Re: [OT] Expensive Coffee TableThis just before one of the lens hoods cracked, wrecking four Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS, with four 1D Mark II cameras to boot. |

I like it, now if you folks could give me the cameras, lenses, and glass top, I'll make me one. |

Especially ones with bad taste (no, not the cameras, the furniture). |

That's pretty awesome. That's about $20,000 worth of equipment! |

Is that the strap that comes with the 1D Mark II? It looks just as bad as the one that comes with the rebel except it says "professional version". |

The strap that comes with the mark II is the strap that you see on the front leftmost camera, not the one on the right. It's a slightly better material, but only marginally.... |

A new strap was the first accessory I bought after chafing my neck. |

I have a replacement strap now too, but for some reason on both my 10D and 20D the Canon strap is much more comfortable upside down...meaning that the writing faces down and sits on my neck. If you don't have a replacement strap, give this method a try and see if it works for you. Killer table. |

Only here, could a picture like this turn into a debate about camera straps. |

» optechusa.com/product/de ··· _SUB_ID=The Pro loop strap. Best strap ive ever used. I have 3 of 'em now. I even use one on my medium format. So comfortable, with a 10D, the 28-70 2.8L, and battery grip, the camera weighs a solid 5 lbs or more, this strap has never chafed me, frankly I dont even notice the camera most of the time. -Jason |

That's probably a bunch of pro photographers messing around with the company cameras and credit cards. I wonder what kind of camera took that pic? |

I'm with ya. I use the same strap. It cuts the weight of the camera a lot. |
