OptimumOnline → New OOL Subscription

I subscribed to ool online, and my modem is on its way.
Is there any way I can use my existing Toshiba pcx2200 modem since I just quit dsl and don't have internet access. How would I do this? Does OOL still offer a grace period on the modem, and is the Toshiba compatible with OOL.

Hook it up and try it out. If it does not work, call customer service and they can register the MAC address for you which will get it online.
