Re: What do you drive/own?

Bah! You people are all spoiled with your fancy shiny newfangled cars and trucks. Why, I drive a car almost as old as meself. Yep, that lil 'ol 1983 Pontiac Acadian (that's a T-1000 to you American folk) has 139,000 Kilometers on it, with an almighty 1.6L 4-banger, 4 speed transmission, and ... Oh yeah, there are no options. But that's OK, because that little booger will drive 20 miles to work, in snow up to it's hubcaps, uphill both ways, in 40 km/h winds every day, without complaint. Have I impressed anyone yet? Wanna trade?;)

I am leasing 2005 Audi S4 right now. I had it since May of 2005. A blast to drive, but it took me 2 months to actually get use to the car. I suppose it was a bad idea picking this car without knowing how to drive a manual first, but hey I didn't burn out the clutch or the transmission, Thank god!

I might post pictures later...

I have an '05 Honda Element, (MMEX4WDAUTO for those in the know). It came with a 7 speaker sound system, CD player with MP3/WMA playback and XM satellite radio. I just love this car, though I miss my '01 Civic LX just because it had a 5-speed. Oh well.

1998 Audi RS4. 380hp - custom Brembo Brakes. 55,451 miles, SOLD. "Too many speeding tickets" (Shadowed by our new Volvo S80 "Unnamed").

Not a factory RS4. Possibly you did enough to the engine to get the factory 380 HP. Looks like you have the RS4 kit bumper. But it's NOT an RS4. Plus, those wheels aren't RS4 wheels. First time the RS4 wheels were offered in the US was on the 2002 Audi TT ALMS special edition (which I just sold about 3 months ago)

RS4 is/was only offered as an Avant, additionally, they never sold that year RS4 in US Spec. In fact, they never sold an RS4 in the US (yet). RS6, yes, for about a year. New US spec RS4 is due next year, I believe.

This is an RS4 (the red one)

1996 Eclipse =)
Here is a picture of my car taken over Christmas break last year. It's a 1996 Eagle Talon Tsi It's got 134,000+ miles on it and it's still going strong! I love the gas milage (32 city 39+ highway) The car has a wonderful underbody coat/spray that the origional owner have put on. I have not even replaced the exaust system yet! This has saved it quite a bit!

You gotta love the 5 speed + the giddyup from the turbo!

I've been driving this car for 5 years and I have yet to spend more than 1K on it (this is over 70,000 miles). All I've had to replace on the car is routine maintainence (belts, hoses, fluids, etc.) I just put fresh tires on the car and I'm all checked up for winter! This sucker purrs like a warm cat. I love it!
