All the farmers want to group with me (60 Pally) so I can heal their sorry rogue asses. Also trying to communicate with these people is hard
It all works out for me cause i get some good loot.
Also when the horde rolls in to get some easy kills, I usually gank a few just for some HK's.

I farmed a bit for Incendosaur Scales, got a couple green drops. The scales sold for pretty good for a while when people where going for thorium bro rep.

well once you have a server as old as BH running some places just dont ever need to be visited again. alot on instances are also in the same places...

i think that most alts are not being created on older servers that is why alot of mid lvl places are empty

Not much ganking although some still complain about it.
I really love my low pop server and I know several players were pissed off to see transfers from Arthas. It didn't really changed much with these guys here now.

Where those players are is largely determined by the average level of the players.

I can tell you that the dwarf / gnome starting land usually has a good number of people starting up alts.

The barrens is usually a high pop area due to 12-30 questing.

I am not high enough to know of the other farming areas... but I imagine the bulk of the pop is in BG and dungeons.

When the expansion comes out there is going to be another half of the world to play in, so people are going to be spread even thinner. What determines the population and what do you guys think about this? How are the low population servers handling the lack of people to quest with and do instances?
