kimanny1 posted : it is all good! Apparently before my tech came, it was fixed, but i wasnt sure since in the past few days, it would be ok one minute and the worst ever the next. I didnt cancel the tech visit to be sure. When he came today, he explained it was a wide area modem problem and that there was an outage today to repair it. Apparently, he was telling the truth, because I havent had any trouble since about 12 this afternoon. He didnt even blame anything on me or my computer! What a bonus!! LOL I hope all is well with everyone else, he said there are a few more areas that need attention, and that they are aware and working on it.
:-) I am happy again! LOL
PS if this sent more than 1 time I am sorry, I got a page could not be displayed.

kimanny1 posted : I live close to Channel 32 news station, I have had unGodly speeds since wednesday. I called Insight and talked to tech support, they had me unplug my modem and he said an unusual amount of packets were going out? What the heck does that mean in English? LOL Anyway someone is coming out Tuesday to check. I ran all the spyware programs I have, and anti virus scans. All comes up clean. I have speeds of 2993/4. I figure the rate I am, I should take out my cable and go back to dial up,since the cable is way slower than my dial up i use to have. Thanks for letting me blow some steam!
Kim
