Re: How come I have to pay to have box 7 installed?said by TazExprez:I went to pick up box 7 to a CV walk-in center. They told me I had to to boxes installed after more than 5 boxes, but they gave me box 6 a few months ago. Why all the fuss? Thanks for any help. Btw, I also have OV and non-Boost OOL. That is very odd. My parents have 8 boxes at their house and only 5 boxes were installed after they moved. The rest were added by myself and there was no charge on their bill. Something is fishy there. |

In my "neck of the woods" (Franklin Lks border) most homes are 5 bedrooms and up, some are easily 7 bedroom homes (6000-8000 sq feet not counting finished basements,) a box in each bedroom, one in a finished basement and one in the great room = 7,8 or 9 in the larger homes 5 TV's on CV in my home and I only have 3k sq ft. Do the math Josh. |

Do what math, 7-8 tvs is a lot in 1 house. It isn't suprising at all if CV would want to have someone actually come install the box to verify they are all in the same house. |

Where I live, eight wouldn't be a lot either. Most people have TVs in their media rooms, family rooms, kitchens, then each bedroom. |

Here's someone with 10 television sets, 9 video cassette recorders, and 7 satellite receivers: » www.fcc.gov/Bureaus/Cabl ··· 2132.pdfThe document explains that they needed to have 6 masts up to 30 feet high to support 5 television antennas and 3 satellite dish antennas in their backyard. |

I wonder why someone would need 5 antennas and 3 dishes (well dishes maybe if you want dish and directv/hd & stuff) |
