There's a 2nd storm right behind it that's about 100 times larger. |

I'm not seeing anything that looks like a 2nd bigger storm on the radar or satellite? |

That must be the one that's dragging itself slowly across Manitoba right now. Another 10 - 15cm expected by tomorrow evening, and I'm sure that we've had 15 cm already. This storm started with freezing drizzle on Tuesday night then changed over to light snow. It just doesn't want to stop snowing though. |

Still going here in Cobourg, and almost foggy too, that or some of the snow is REALLY fine. |

Re: [Rant] As Of 10:15 EST --- It's a dud... so farThe snow I shoveled this morning was heavy and wet. Tiring. My wife had shoveled last night (for which I rubbed her feet later) before I got home and there was still at least 8 cm this morning. |

Re: [Rant] As Of 10:15 EST --- It's a dud... so faToronto was spared the worst (again). Places east of Belleville got hammered.
I shovelled when I got home after my 2.5 hour commute (see rant in other tread) and there was maybe 10 cm on the ground. I shovelled again this morning and it was only about half of that. I estimate we got 10-15 cm total. Not the dumping they were predicting.
The fog you see is due to the temperature hovering around freezing. The drive in this morning on the 407 was great until Bathurst when there were a least half a dozen cars spun out in the median or ditch. Slowed right down and crawled on to Bayview.

nothing here in hamilton over night. the snow stopped around 10pm and that was it.
We probably ended up with 10cm total.. hardly a "winter storm" IMO. |

Re: [Rant] As Of 10:15 EST --- It's a dud... so faThe drive out to work was great. Looked to me like people were taking a snow day regardless. All the roads on my 85 km commute were just bare and wet. |

It's really coming down in Ottawa now. I was out early this morning and early the roads were okay, but coming back into downtown it was a mess (the buses on the Transitway were lined up almost back to Tunney's Pasture while trying to get into Lebreton Flats). Evening rush hour should be a barrel of laughs. |

All the exams at my university were delayed by an hour today. Wise decision if I must say so, it's pouring over her in Montréal. |

While we were not under a Winter Storm Watch/Warning because us Northern Ontario's are a hardy bunch , it started snowing at 10am yesterday, and has yet to stop, its calmed down at some points but it hasn't stopped snowing, I'd say we have at least 15cm at this point. I shovelled for about an hour last night, and its starting to pickup again and I'm going to have to go out and shovel again, but it shouldn't be as bad this time. |

Re: [Rant] As Of 10:15 EST --- It's a dud... so farThat snow fall was shit compared to last Thursday.
However, I wasn't really in the "zone" for the 15-30cm expected snowfall regions.
Anyone got links of places that got sn0wned? |

Well, we received about 35-40 cm of snow and took me about 4 hours to clean up the driveway. My parents must be enjoying the heat down in Brazil ! Positive side though, I'm joining them at Christmas day For b34tBoX : » www.cbc.ca/montreal/stor ··· 216.html |
