Version 4.5.594.000 has been very stable and much less bloated. And is still available:

thats what I use, does a good job, I don't seem to acquire any virus' or worms, the odd time i do a virus scan, my computer comes up clean.

no wierd excessive bandwidth usages either, so i guess i haven't been hacked.

then again i do use a cheap wired linksys router.
