shootist. And when it doesn't work then what?????
Jazzy you should start to follow the age old rule.
IF it isn't broken stop trying to fix it.

Sorry to have to disagree with you,but
IF man did not experiment, or try new things,
then according to your reply,
we would all still be getting around in horse drawn carts,& flying & electricity would still be only a dream
==================================================
heterman,,I wouldn't want it "optimizing" 37 of my system settings if I didn't know what it changed.
No thanks.

heterman, befor you or other comdenm this program why not try it, it works just like tuneup utilities does,or is tuneup utilities "snake oil also"? (only a little better)

you won't try something new that may help your computer, but you'll surely D/L/ (untested for viruse, spies, worms) games & music from somewhere you do not know.

GeekNJ see the pictures,

but to all thanks for your opinion, and no offense intendedbut I am fixing/running still adding different programs that I think will help me and mu computer, and doing this FOR ME,not for the programs that you like and are on your computer, thats what makes us all different.."Jazzy"

"Intelli HyperSpeed 2005 costs only $24.95 for the option of Download Version."

$24.95 for a program that doesn't provide details on what it optimizes? I'm highly suspicious about this program, since with the screenshots you showed, I see no real details on what it's doing.

Jazzy, I don't dowload anything that I am not sure of. This program is included in the "I'm not sure" category. So, I am not sure where you get that I download games and music from somewhere I do not know. And since I don't do this, I have no need for a program like this.

Yes, I have tried Tune Up Utilities before, mostly to see what it does. These types of things don't need to be ran but once in a while. Multiple programs like this are not necessary.

If Tune up does a great job, as you say, then why not stick with it? At least it tells you what it is fixing.

Per the FAQ:
Intelli HyperSpeed 2005 is next-generation system optimization software which integrates several advanced proprietary technologies. Without any hardware upgrades, it can turn your PC into a productive workstation, an entertainment center, a game machine, or a super-computer.
Not a windows expert? No problem! By choosing from 4 automatic optimization modes, all you
need to do is just a couple of mouse clicks and a few waiting seconds. Intelli HyperSpeed 2005
will thoroughly examine your windows system, accurately detect the weak spot for slowing down
and crashing, and automatically optimize your system setting to the most efficient way. It can
dramatically boost your computer operation and Internet connection speed by up to 600%.
"Boost the Internet connection by 600%"? Come on man, give me a break.

"Turns your PC into a productive workstation." Ok, but it already is. Again, no need.

"Detects weak spot for slowing down and crashing". Again, I don't have crashing episodes.

All in all, I think this program is going to bite you back. If I had a test computer with me, I would try and see what exactly this program actually does. But then again, you might not take my word for it, rather blow me off as someone who doesn't believe in "optimizers".

We are only trying to help you whocares0 , nothing less.
Good luck, my friend.

Hetermanwhile tune up[ wprks great & I ""think"" tuneup is for GENERAL computer fix up, it seems as IF advance windowscare & Intelli Hyperspeed is more forcused, whats the difference between what this company claims about its interenet speeds & Time warner cable claiming its 10 times faster then DSL& DSL claiming its 100 times faster then dialup,(2 word's are missing-"UP TO"
look at their Q/A site, providedtoward winxp,win2000,better then windows onecare program

I know all are here to help &
I & others really appreciate everything that each of you do, but as some have said on here, "what works good for me, may not work for you,",

i'am just trying to get this computer running so good, that

when i wake up in the moring this computer says,
"Good morning jazzy, here is your coffee ,lol hehehehe

thanks again "jazzy"

whocares0 I thinks what people are trying to say is that the promises this company makes are just not likely. As I recall you've got a fairly new computer. If you've turned off unnecessary processes and tweaked it a bit, you're just not likely to see huge increases in performance by running some software app. I use Tune-Up from time to time but only because I'm a neat freak. I've never seen massive jumps in performance.

"salzan", hello understood what you are saying, the ONLY reason I tried,(am trying this)is because it had advance windowscare & at first i thought it was from "'windows/microsoft",and yes,I'am beginning to see (or feel) like it isn't speeding my computer up any,
for all, even though computer is still new-(less then 6 moths old)when I see a program, especially one that is named something like avance "windows" something or other or Microsoft "example (SPEEDEM UP) i start to think maybe it will make care computer run 'hotter/faster then it already is,
like running your car on gasoline,(then after a little engine work) run it on 100% grain alcohol like a dragster

so i try a program for 24-48 hrs & see what happens,
Thanks to everyone for the help/info "jazzy"

I installed advance windows care, and it isn't even close to Tune Up 2006. I too think it is insane that the program does not let you know what it is fixing.

I saw no real increase in performance after letting it do its thing.

It's not showing what it tuned. It shows the general areas it is focusing on, but not the settings (registry, etc) it modified. If it does show it, it's not in the screens you posted.

Subject: Re: Thanks

Hi 'my name"
Nice to get your email. Thanks again for your feedback and help.
I visited the forum and found there is a misunderstanding -our products do provide the details about what's changed.Just put the cursor on the option and you will see the details.
Please refer to the homepage of AWC in which there is a "Tip of Today" picture (see the attachment).
You can find similar details in IHS 2005.
Currently we are busy on R&D the next major version - V2006 supposed to be an amazing one. They will be released around June 2006.
BTW,I highly recommend a new website to you, which is built by one of my Internet friend. Hope you and your friends will like it.

if the attachment is a pict i will post it "jazzy"
P.S. attachment was this,

»www.optimizevista.net/Op ··· 2000.htm
Optimize windows XP and 2000 –

A Big Dummy’s Guide-guess he was referring to me, (lol)

Nice that the vendor responded, though "Dr Dong" for his email is a little bit disturbing

Would be interesting to see the specifics of what it tweaked for you. I assume that since it's done, unless it logs it, we'd never know.

I agree, there is nothing that shows specifics of what was done to your system.

Jazzy, I thought you had your system exactly the way you wanted it???
