I believe I'm on the old extreme and she said yes you are I will change that for you right now. My internet shut down and came back 2 secs later. I had the updated extreme. <br><br>Like I said mine was easy took 10min from the time I dialed them to the time it took to update my system and say good-bye.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[vteck2005 posted : I received a letter stateing that the price of cable service is going up, but i didn't know if that also meant internet.  So i called them and asked how much i was paying for internet (extreme)  the tech guy said i was paying 44.-- and that i was getting 6Mb, how can that be?<br><br>When i do a speed test on speakeasy i get 4.7Mb. Is there any other way to check if my modem is able to go to 6Mb (Has it been updated?)<br><br>Thanks]]></description>
