I don't get how that could happen.
I also have a WRT54G v5 with the latest firmware (1.0.0.6), cascaded with a BEFSR41 so that I have 2 subnets in my home network (the WRT54G's "Internet" port is connected to one of the LAN ports of the BEFSR41). When Block Anonymous Internet Requests is enabled on the WRT54G, the computers on the BEFSR41's subnet cannot ping the other subnet (the one hosted by the WRT54G); the response is a "Request timed out".
My guess is there's something wrong with your WRT54G. |
