Sony PlayStation 3 delayed until November → Is it really a "delay"?

How can you delay something that never had a release date in the first place?

great marketing, more money if sold in November..

Precisely what I was thinking. If the Xbox 360 was any indication of sales potential, I should preorder about 10 of 'em and sell them all on eBay. Would pay for all my other Christmas shopping.
