Our download speed before boost was 750 kbps. And after we got "boost" to try to improve the service we are downloading now WITH BOOST at 1.5 Mbps. This is infuriating!

Please someone suggest a course of action!?? We're paying nearly $70.00 bucks for only 1.5 Mbps.
qakbiggs posted : I dunno....I think 4 or 6 months is too long no matter what they say. They only "acknowledged" the problem 3 weeks prior to fixing it? If that's the case, there is a serious lack of competence in the tech support division (surprise surprise) in that a real, zip code wide problem was "unnoticed" or "disbelieved" for so long. 3 weeks is a reasonable time if that's all it took total...The only thing that I think is more to the story is their lack of caring/greed/unwillingness to fork over the cash to fix the problem. I wish we were able to get a real number as to how many calls went into getting them to move on this. I'll bet it's a huge number. I feel only anger and disappointment that otherwise loyal, consistently paying consumers went through something like this. I would have switched, but my only option was/is 1.5 DSL, and that wasn't enough of an improvement to warrant switching (at least for me.) Anyway, hopefully this thread was a factor in getting it fixed, I know it definitely helped keep me sane while it was going on. Thanks to all who vented and commiserated, and may we never have to post this kind of crap again.
(edited cause I spell like a 4 year old)
Jim
--
Pepperidge Farms remembers.."Beaks and Claws make good cookies."
