Unstable Sprint???

Hey, I have had sprint for about a year and have never experienced it being so unstable that i have this past week and now.... does anyone have an idea of what the problem could be??? could it be my modem is dying?

Maybe your sector is degrading as usual. Nonetheless, call up Sprint and ask them if they are having any problems in the area at the time. It has happened to me before and they actually fixed the problem for a brief time period at least.

i dont know what sector, how do you tell? just ask them? or can you tell from IP address or the dns domain maybe?
tech support told me to unplug and plug my modem back in, i didnt bother calling them back after that....

I have also had my Sprint BBD for a while, and just recently, I have also felt that the service was a bit unstable. I was signed off of AOL AIM repeatedly, so I called Sprint BBD (1-888-996-0001). The tech wasn't the brightest crayon, and did what ever he could, to no avail. I decided that the service was probably going south, so I went to sleep. The next day, all was better, and my connection was faster! Just leave your connection along, it will fix itself. I do hope that Sprint doesn't shut down their Sprint Broadband Direct service, it has given more speed than I have ever experienced. It has been relatively reliable, and has gotten faster and better. On the other hand, DSL is now in my area. I might change my mind

Sprint is not going to disconnect any current customers.

Happy to hear that your connection picked up! Unfortunately, this is not always the case, and you may have to call TS.
