Re: [HSI] 10 meg - updates

Chtres: You know Charter should have a easy page for everyone to view as to what speeds they have.

Far to often i hear "its coming" but if Charter just had a map of the US, and you hover mouse over what area your in would give you updated info on services in that area. Heck you could break it down to towns for everyone to see. That way for people like me that live in a pretty up and coming area I would know "St.Louis area" really does not mean 40min drive away from it to my small town.

Just a suggestion...maybe we could get someone with skills to do it for just this website? /shrug

The current put in your zip code thing does not work well, kind of like checking for DSL in a area, you always have to call in to see around here since its spotty. hehe

I would think that would function much like the Localize option the website currently offers. I think it would be just as prone to the same issues (not showing accurate info) and might actually require a little more work to maneuver. Teens and kids that are trying to find service for their parents may not know exactly where in the state their city is located and it might lead to frustration. Even children are taught their address at a young age and can type it into a field, as it is setup now. Thats just my thought though, it doesnt represent the company in any capacity.

However, its possible no one has thought about it at corp -
I recommend you pass it along! Quite a few of the tools and website features we have in place are direct results of customers opinions and ideas. In fact, the 'localize' option was a direct result of a customers idea to have local service offerings available on the website.

Corp phone # is (314) 965-0555 - you could also pass the feedback along at charters website, or through the call center.

And you mean to tell me that in Southern California, with bazillions of people, they cant get us anything faster than 3/256?

How disgusting.
