"I'm not interested in any interim solution that could cost us money - I don't want us to take our eyes off higher profits," says Charter's CTO Marwan Fawaz. "We don't want anything to slow down cash flow," agrees Comcast CTO David Fellows. "higher prices is where we're headed."

Inventory of old modems isn't holding back development of the standard of Docsis 3. |
