So this all boils down to the size of their HD stream and their willingness to keep looplengths short/use pair bonding. I really doubt there is going limit of 1 HD stream.

In fact when going from traditional broadcast to point to point transmissions DVRs in general become pointless. CPE DVRs should be replaced with Head-End DVR to make the most effecient use of bandwidth.
This is far better option than a CPE DVR.
