Thanx a lot man guess i'll just pick up a basic tuner card. Just thought about another concern, i am unsure wether i have an audio in with my onboard soundcard, i see a optical in... motherboard is abit IS7. The microphone port is an in, will that suffice?

No, use the onboard AUX1 connector for the tv tuner audio input.

How would you go about connecting the audio from the tuner card to that pin header on the board? It appears that there is only a headphone jack out on the tuner card.

The card indicates it has an audio out:
