DSL Extreme → current account package

howdy...

i was fiddling around with my account...and i noticed this:
Modify Your Subscription
Your Current Plan: • 1500-6000 / 384-608 Kbps
Your Current Connection Type: • Static IP
Current DSL Phone Number: • ***-***-****
Your Current Contract Term: • Month to Month

if i'm not mistaken, should i change my account to the 3000-6000/512-768 package to take advantage of the speed? or am i wrong and i'm already on the fastest possible and i'm just an idiot and can't read........?

Hi Nick,

You can upgrade to the higher speed package. The current package that you are on is a 1500-6000/384-608. The higher speed package is 3000-6000/512-768. You would essentially get an extra 160 of upload speed.

you know...i was thinking about changing my subscription to dynamic (i don't really play games anymore). can i change it to a new 12 month plan without weird fees & cancellation tasks?

Simply go to the Modify Subscription page under the My Account page on our site. It will give you all of your options and pricing etc.

hey george...

just changed my package. though i noticed that is says it going to cost me $50. shouldn't it be like around $40 since i already have a modem? i'm just trying to plan out what charges will occur with you guys. normally i get charged $62.96 the first week of every month... i'm not gonna get charged $62.96 (current package) AND $40'ish bucks (new package) next month, am i?

sorry for asking so many questions, i just thought it would be easier to go thru you than CS/billing because i'm currently at work right now. plus i enjoy having a piece of mind. (which is why i'm with you guys, cuz you all rock)
