As one of the "unprofitable" that are getting cut I can assure you it isn't a nice feeling.
I contacted Cingular and they told me that my phones should show that I am roaming. I told them that they do not and they said they "updated" them for me some time ago. Of course they never told me this personally, I guess I was just supposed to know.
I was/am a Cingular customer for about 3 years. About 9 months ago I even upgraded adding another line. All of a sudden I am told that I am not profitable even though I haven't moved or changed phones.
What really bugs me is that they just let me buy another phone, another line, and sign a new 2 year contract with them. I also paid the extra for a NATIONAL plan so that I never had to worry about roaming. Isn't that kind of ironic?
This has soured me so much I am just going to give up on my cell phone. It's a nice luxury but not a necessity for me by any means.
I really wish I could tell Cingular exactly what I think of them but I don't want to get banned from this website.
