Removal Of BHO Related To GoogletoolbarI have been trying for a long time to remove this BHO(AA58ED58-01DD-4d91-8333-CF10577473F7) from my system. I know it is benign according to BHO Demon but I want it gone. I uninstalled the Google Toolbar a long time ago. I have used both BHO Demon and Hijack This and also removed it from the registry manually and evertime I reboot it is back. I have also searched for it in all my files. Any suggestions. |

Does it appear in the WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files folder? If so try: Right Click\Remove. |

Search the entire registry for the word google ,and delete anything you find. I had a similar problem with AOL connection manager re-creating keys, even though the software was supposedly un-installed. Create a restore point before you start, and be prepared for a couple of hours worth of deleting. Do it in the safe mode in-case there is a googley process running that "ensures system integrity" which will re-create stuff as fast as you can delete it. If you get any errors while trying to delete a key, right click on the key and change the permission properties to "all".
Edit - While in safe mode, before you re-boot, search the entire hard drive for any file containing "google" in it's name. Search hidden and system files. Delete all you find. |

didn't read enough Then I'd be trying to unregister the dlls shown by it and maybe looking at them with Filealyzer to see if I could spot one with the "restore it" function » www.snapfiles.com/get/fi ··· zer.html |

Thanks everybody. I will try the things suggested.
Right now the main sewer line behind my house is backed up and I am watching them work on getting it clear before it backs up in my house. Just had $30k worth of repairs\remodeling due to a broken water pipe. |
