x1900 at 57 C IDLE... is that normal?I'm posting on behalf of a friend of mine who owns a computer in which is installed an Asus ATI x1900 512MB video card. She has told me that the idle temperature of the card averages around 57 degrees Celsius- and that it rises up to 70 C under stress. It's been a while since I've owned an ATI card, and I understand this is a relatively high-end card... are those temps normal?
She has told me that the case has adequate airflow, and the card's cooling fan itself appears to be in good working order. |
