LOL, I know the feeling. Try living in Ayer which is one of the smallest towns in the area and not one of the wealthy towns so will probably be awhile for us. -Mike |

But I thought Lawrence was getting Fios installed. I'm pretty sure I've seen them installing it. Also, Lawrence is petitioning for fios TV. » ga3.org/campaign/LawrenceSo wouldn't that mean they have Fios data? said by intokkabire:I would like to know why they hate the fine people of North Andover so much (im guessing because of Lawrence) and why they hate Chelmsford (im guessing because of Lowell) |

I know it's not much, but i took a picture of my little construction project this morning. I found some unused wood in my basement and it fit pretty well without having to cut it. There's no room to put the ONT outside so they'll put it inside under the circuit breaker panel. They'll be here tomorrow, so i'll take lots of pictures. |

Looks fine. The only concern might be whether VZ has any installation guidelines for the "height" of the ONT and BBU above the floor level. Typically the units are installed at eye level. They might have concerns with floor dampness and water.
Our FIOS equipment was install just to the left of the AC power panel. If you have room and time, consider moving your panel "up" to the left of your breaker panel. |

Did not realize that work had begun for Lawrence... Thanks for the info.
However, I recently moved over to Chelmsford. Anyone know anything about it? |

Thanks for the info and advice. I'll see if i can put it up to the left of the panel, but that'll probably require some 2x4's for support.
I asked the worker who came to measure the distance of my driveway to the street (over 6 poles!). He said below the panel should be fine...but I think your right about dampness or it even just getting in the way and someone bumping into it. |

It looks like you used existing 2x4 to mount your panel. I had some left over "Tapcon concrete screws" and simply drilled a few holes in the wall and then screwed some wood strapping onto the wall. Then use a few wood screws or nails to attach the panel to the strapping. Got um at homedepot: » www.confast.com/products ··· rew.aspxI think I used a total of 4 (1/4" screws) but you should be able to use the 3/16" size. The screws come with a concrete drill. Take your time dilling the wholes or use a hammer drill for a faster job. I suggest getting the "hex head" screws - much easier to install with a socket wrench. Sink the screws below the surface of the strapping so the panel sits flush on the strapping. |
