It's like every 3 or so has time=-31ms? I am lost......this has been going on for over 3 weeks now, bought a new board thinking maybe something with it. No dice....I am starting to get very very upset over why this is happening, it's affecting things like games and stuff.....

Look for software running in the background that is using the net.

"netstat -an" at the command prompt may help.
Most everything that is running is using the net, same programs I have used for years without having this issue. Will try the netstat and see what it comes up with though.

Look for software running in the background that is using the net.

That's what I would think, because it takes so long to get to your router in your tracert. Try hooking up just your router and nothing else, then ping your router. If it's still taking forever to get there then that eliminates any TWC equipment.
I tried directly to the modem as well, and the first hop was still like that.
