<description><![CDATA[djdanska posted : i was having the same issue last night and this morning before i left for work. i dont use comcast dns servers at all. it would resolve fine, but no connect. tracert would not go through. its as if they lost the peering to someone. would be fine but once it left comcast or att's network, it would die. speeds where horrible too. it would take a few minutes to do a speed test! <br><SMALL>--<br>When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.</SMALL>]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[deleteme51 posted : Same problem here...<br><br>Tried several different DNS providers:<br>Comcast's<br>MyCompany's<br>opendns.com<br>ATT/SBC's<br><br>Cable modem status page says everything is good.<br><br>It's not purely limited to DNS, you can be surfing the same website, for example www.cnn.com (once you've gone there once the DNS record is cached, it won't be looked up again untill you open and close your browser) yet you click arround on cnn.com (or any other website) and frequently get "page cannot be displayed" - go back, wait a few, click the same link, and it works fine.<br><br>Internesting that a continuous ping to my datacenter has no problems - all less than 20ms<br><br>Seems like a bandwidth throttle or packet filter problem on Comcast's end.]]></description>
