I know it's not what you're asking for, but I got a great price on Cat6 from MacMall.com or PCMall (their PC counter-part) I think i ended up paying 114 or something + free shipping (shipping kills most of the Cat5 deals if you're buying a large amount)
So you may want to check there to see what they offer for Cat5e

Thats why I purchased it (new home). Yes, currently there isn't anything that a home user would run that would really utilize cat6, and yes cat5e is gigabit capable as well, but who knows what the future holds... IPTV, Phone, Movie On Demand Downloads/Streaming etc. No one knows and for the extra 60-70 bucks I thought why not. Plus, I have a tendency to go a little overboard
