Re: Installing MSN Premium & McAfee

Use AVG free edition. It's free, no licensing issues and it's not as intrusive like MCafee and Symantec and don't want to install trap everywhere on a system so your PC becomes slow as hell.
I replaced all MCafee AVs at my house with AVG free and can't be happier.

I use AVG free too. It doesn't use much memory and doesn't seem to impact system performance at all. Only notice it when it is updating or when it warns me about a virus/worm. However, it's only anti-virus so you need to also get a firewall and a couple spy ware programs. Even though the ActionTec router seems to stop all intrusion attempts, I like to have a second layer of firewall defense just in case.
