Shaw → Shaw mail servers?

I'm trying to configure gmail to check my shaw.ca email address using pop3. But when I enter in the info just like it is in outlook express it gives me a timeout message.

Does anyone know the shaw mail servers that will work with gmail?

you can only check Shaw mail from within the shaw network. Since GMail is outside of Shaws netowrk, it is unable to check your Shaw mail.

What I did instead was have my Shaw email accounts forward all my mail to my Gmail account. Here's a link with a description: »www.shaw.ca/en-ca/Custom ··· ings.htm .

I decided to do this because Shaw's spam filters were completely inferior compared to Gmail's spam filters.
