One of the offer sites actually rejected "Justin McGroin", claiming that it was an "invalid name." It cheerfully accepted "Anita Amanda Plowme" though. |

Good luck. Verified and shipping request issued over two weeks ago. I did have a delay getting my MBP though, even after verification. |

I cashed in 1000 points for the orange shuffle at ipodsweepstakes. Check this out - NO voucher or mailing - they just ship it when you click OK. Now that's more like it. Of course it says allow 6 weeks so who knows what the real shipping time is.
I suspect, also, from looking at the photograph of the nano, that it may be a first-generation nano. The unit shown in the photo is silver and 2GB. If so, it isn't worth the extra 1000 points, especially since there are slim pickins on the offers now. |

We'll see how long it takes me to get it. Also, on my TopConsumerGifts iPod Shuffle (03/02 - post new terms) that I sucessfully entered verification on 3/5 - I'm STILL in verification. Talk about wanting to make sure you still have at least one of the products after three months. |

Scam.com is reporting that verification at NT is now taking 90 days regardless of when you started. Kinda sucks. |

www.sleeknewlaptops.com
Has a MacBook (NOT MacBook Pro) for 10 offers.
- 2-2-6 - offers are plentiful and the third page is loaded with cheap or easily cancelable offers - no referrals - nothing in the Terms and Conditions about holding the offers. It DOES say that verification may take up to 30 days, but that is standard boilerplate.
I looked through the offers and confirmed that the third page is good. However I can't say how fast or reliably they credit.
This might be good for those who missed the March 1 deadline and want a laptop for 10 offers - to do a couple of cheap $1 offers and see if they credit. |

said by Hilbe:Do we know this is not a scam? No, but even if somebody on scam.com posted that it "works", they could be a shill. I looked at the offers and there are plenty that are cheap. So anybody wanting to start working on a MacBook could test it out. The reason I mention this site is that now that NT has put the 90-day thing into effect, this site is the first one I have found that doesn't appear to have any of the following deal-breaker attributes: - referrals (do command-F for "unique household" to identify these quickly) - "no cancellation" clauses in the Terms and Conditions - mandatory 45-day waiting period for offers to complete, like EveryFreeGift has. - third (or last) page that only has expensive no-refund offers, like an $899 vacation and a $1599 room furniture being the only offers on page 3 and you have to choose one. This site does say that it may take 30 days for verification - standard boilerplate. Whether that means that they will DQ you if offers are found to have been canceled is unknown, but it doesn't say that. So anyone who missed the pre-March 1 NT rules could do some testing on the $1 offers here and see what happens. |

That new MacBook deal sounds interesting...
Are there any good sites out there for items such as an Apple TV that don't have these 90-day/2-3 cancellation limits and such? |

Not that I found, but I wasn't looking for them. The best thing to do is Google what you are looking for, then check the fine print at the bottom of the main page of the site to make sure it does not say "refer xx unique households", then if not, read the Terms and Conditions to see if there is anything in there about not canceling offers or a waiting period for verification, and then sign up with a tossaway Gmail and a PrivatePhone phone number and everything else fake except the Zip code, and then work your way through the pages of surveys clicking "No" to everything or clicking "Skip" if there is a Skip button, and then going directly to the last page of offers and seeing what the choices are, to make sure there are plenty and that there are several that charge only a few dollars and are cancelable. For example, although the diets are cancelable, you still wind up with a $30 nonrefundable charge. If all checks out, you can go back and sign up again with your real info, making sure to use your full legal name. They may be checking IPs for duplicate signups, so I would use a level 2 or 3 anon proxy for the test run. |

Is this what other people got, or did you get the free trial? Maybe I read it wrong. It's a $9.99 promo that is for 30 days. After that it goes up to the regular price of $19.99 Edit: Didn't see you were referring to the ipodsweepstakes.... Yeah - I saw free trial there. |

It's always been a $9.99 one month promo, as you noted. Haven't seen anywhere offering a free trial for Blockbuster. |

90 day verification is no big deal. Enforcing the 90 day, only cancel 2 offers or you're DQ'd deal would be. Scam.com seems to have people that are being told the latter for pre 3/1 parked offers. |

Read all the threads about it. They're getting that for both pre and post March 1 starts. |
