Just to be clear about this, my modem only puked when I tried the artificial Telnet abort--it had not previously (to my knowledge) happened owing to hnFAPMon at any time.

I'll prolly mod the ini file anyway just to keep traffic in check...
I'll have to do some testing, but other users have reported similar problems. I want to be completely certain that hnFAPMon is not causing an occasional hiccup of the modem. Any possibility that that could happen is to much for me...

What I will do for now is
1) Make sure that when connected via telnet to always log off with the Z command.
2) Allow the option of turning off telnet access completely.

And I thought that I'd have a weekend off

I've got about 1 1/2 hours before I have to feed the horses... Hopefully I can get something ready for testing by then...
