pstewart posted : JayMan24-thanks for the quick reply. I think there is some misinformed users which is too bad. I'm not trying to sound biased - they are really nice people to work with from my perspective...;)

I can't comment on the pricing - lots of ISP's have different business models of which several of them require $44.95/month to justify their customer base - that's not neccessarily a bad thing in the long run

Anyways, I don't want to start a flame war or big debate - if that user wants confirmation on what kind of DSL they can get, PM me their phone number and I can look it up for sure - Sympatico and Teksavvy cannot neccessarily guarantee the line speed until it's operational - I can look at their line stats as they are connected today and verify...
--
Core 2 Duo 2.66GHz-500GB RAID1+2TB NAS-4GB RAM-GeForce7950GX2-SB XFi-Nexicom 5 Meg ADSL

I got told another today at work, person called in and wanted to go from nrtc's lite to there full DSL and got told they couldn't do it since they are too far from the CO and the lite is as fast as it can go. The service works very well and customer service is outstanding. Another alternative is Teksavvy who are also awesome and have excellent customer service and have a strong presence on these forums.
