[XP Pro] How to Slipstream Windows Updates?

Every time when I install a Windows XP on a computer I have to download Windows Critical Updates. This process takes a lot of time.

Is there a way to slipstream the Windows Updates on the install CD?

Download all the Windows XP updates using the method listed here: »Microsoft Application Tips and Tweaks »Is it possible to download all patches\updates in one session?

Make sure to select which service pack is integrated on the cd. (Service Pack 1A / 2).

Use nLite to slipstream them into Windows XP setup.

Yes, as Amduser said, use nlite, but the easiest way to get all the updates integrated is to use RyanVM's update pack located here: »www.ryanvm.net/msfn/upda ··· ack.html

I have done this many times and it works great.

Not a slipsteamer but.....

AutoPatcher also works great, but you need to be up to date to SP2 before using Autopatcher.
