Re: Who the f*** is TeleBlend?

said by B04:

Well, EXACTLY. So that would mean "reports indicate that significant portions of the SunRocket network may be shut down on or after July 23 as a result of non-payment by SunRocket" is a freakin' lie highly weasel-worded deception direct from your new provider...
Um, not sure how that is a lie. SR didn't pay, and therefore the SR network will get shut down. In steps TB, with access to provisioning data to take over the survivors. Not for one minute do I think that TB is going to pay the past due for SR. Rather, they come in and say, "Mr. Vendor, we'll save you a hassle in reconnecting everybody... here's the list and he's our first payment."

Teleblend is wording it that way because they don't want to sound like a------- for turning off your service.

They bought all of sunrockets s--- and they plan on making a profit. They will proactively turn off former SR customers because (they've made it very clear) THEY AREN'T SR!!

We don't know if ANY funds changed hands on the asset switch to a new "owner" ... for that matter TeleTubby is refusing to give any details, but us smart ones here on BBR know for a fact the ONLY way for this to happen is SR hardware/software is running the "new" TeleTubby service ... with at least some technical support from former SR employees, there is no other possible way for this sham to have gone down ...

Not sure what is so mystifying B. "Significant portions of the SR network may be shut down for non-payment." TB pays vendor to take over existing backbone and trims subscribers via configuration updates. Those marked "paid" get to keep same service as before, those marked "unpaid" go down the rabbit hole.

What are you talking about? "TB pays vendor to take over existing backbone"? Teleblender is the provider taking over the SR infrastructure. That's entirely my point, that it's going to be Teleblender disconnecting Sunrocket subscribers, not "Our reports indicate that significant portions of the SunRocket network may be shut down on or after July 23 as a result of non-payment by SunRocket."

Come on -- "our reports indicate"?? "May be shut down?" That's just nonsense.

Excuse me but I wasn't talking to you at all. There's a line indicating this at the top of the post.

Okay, you should email them and ask them rephrase the response to one guy's question. It should read: "TeleBlend will disconnect all Sunrocket subscribers, with the exception of those who have signed on to our service."
Would that let you sleep better tonight? If this whole discussion is over semantics, jeez....

By the way, who did you select as your new provider, and are you up and running yet?

People who use phone texting drop off everything. Are=R You=u etc...

I am no English teacher, heck I am an engineer, generally we don't know how to spell and common usage is optional, and my use of the English language sucks genereally, but did B really need to post that his link to Merrian-Webster.

Haven't you ever seen one of those emails where every word was misspelled except for the first and last letter. The mind can process amazing things with out correct spelling and grammar. NoOneButMe's post was only like 3 lines and not very hard to follow.

I think we all need to get a grip.

But again what do I know?

scdgoofy, you can't avoid the fact that she was being, at best, incredibly disingenuous.

Yes, if they phrased it the way you just suggested I would not have had to point out the deception; thanks for admitting that point. It's not just semantics; it's honesty and trust.

I selected Viatalk; I could be up and running but have chosen to let my ATA continue to register to Sunrocket for the time being.

The world is full of flowerly language... Instead of firing people, I "allow them to find a better fit outside the organization". Instead of yelling at people, I "encourage them to focus on areas of improvement". TB is doing the same thing...massaging the message, which, in the face the inability to disclose all the facts, is about all you can do.

They're either gonna do this or they aren't and we can all sit around and conjecture about it all day or just wait and see.

Hope you have a great weekend...we'll all hope for the best come Monday. -scd
