tyoung88 posted : I posted this in the "BYOD Help Thread" but I'm thinking it may be related with this one...

I had my BYOD account activated on Wed, 07/25 and after configuring my Sunrocket SPA-2102 all inbound calls were crystal clear but outbound calls resulted in a busy tone. I tried various dialplans, stun server, config changes, etc, however during random troubleshooting last night I tried changing the server from houston-2.vtnoc.net to sanjose-1.vtnoc.net and outbounds worked :) I switched back to houston and they did not work. I've attempted connections to houston-1, houston-2, and sanfrancisco-1 and cannot get outbound on any. All servers allowed successfully registration of the SPA-2102 and ping tests showed fewer hops and faster response time to houston vs san jose.

Not sure if this is a common occurrence for new accounts (something in the infrastructure needs to sync?) or related to these service outages.

PhoneLine posted : Service would not cut out like that if the number had ported would it? I know the number in the setup would need to be changed if that was the case, but would the temp number they gave me still work till I made the change?

Mostly just wishful thinking on my part as I never got any emails about the port aside from the initial email saying it was in process.

I can tell its still out cause when I call my home number it rings once and goes to voicemail. Should ring 4 times.

I'll try changing the server later when I get home if its out and if that doesn't work I'll have to try and get in touch with them.

PhoneLine posted : Hey guys,

I have had my byod service setup for about 3 days with no problems using my old sunrocket innomedia. This morning when I got up, my voip light was out. It was working fine last night about 11pm ish.

All I did was a reboot of the power on the innomedia cause I had to goto work, so could not play with it too much. Will have to see if its working later when I get home.

Anyone else had any issues this morning? I'm set to the ny number 1 server I believe.
