The sad part is, he has a valid point. Under Texas law, he is correct, the people viewing the site for free while blocking the ads the owner wants you to see, would be considered theft. Would anyone ever be prosecuted, highly doubtful. But the website not taking action to prevent illegal activity (in this case theft) could get interesting, if the greedy lawyers wanted to take up the issue.

Didn't the change the name of that state to "Tex," because the other part is in DC?

I'd like to see the text of that law.

So under this Texas law, if I read a magazine, and I look in the index and go right to the article that I want to read without looking at the advertisements on the other pages, is that illegal?

If I go to a web page and cover the advertisements in the side-bar with my hand, so they can't be read, is that illegal?

If I record TV shows to watch at my convenience, then skip over the advertisements, is that illegal?

Just wondering...
