She insisted <i>SEVERAL</i> times that it would take 15 days MINIMUM.  Before it would work again.  Like everyone else this made me nervous but because of your posts I said go ahead... (sweating because I am taking an Online Masters course and have an exam next week!).. <br><br>It was scheduled to be turned off today.  I called myt number from work and the free forwarding message to my cell was already working at 12:30PM.  When I got home at 10:00PM I saw the internet was working fine.. so the switch was made SAME DAY!!<br><br>Thanks to the posters and OP!!]]></description>

I am thinking of getting dry loop pro(I have pro now) and useing call vantage. This will save me around $25 a month.   Dry loop pro with tax around $32, call vantage about 30 with tax. My bill right now is about $88 with taxes. I am always looking for ways to save a few bucks    :p ]]></description>

I told him that my wife and I have cell phones and would be fine in case of an emergency. I got the "Cell phones are only good up to a 5 mile radius and will not give specific address even if you are unable to talk" It felt more like retentions then anything to be honest. ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Idlehand posted : I just signed up for the Dry Loop Service. I was on elite but was only getting upper 4megs so going to 3 shouldn't be too much of a issue. The best part is the money saving. 10-15 days they say scares me and I think its a scare tactic to keep your phone line. I did get the 911 scare but I'm fine with that. $28.99 for Pro service. Cant ask for much more than that. ]]></description>

Since the first part of the process is done.  How long can I realistically expect it to take before I'm back in service. I was at Elite, so it will be tough to lose the speed, but I'll live. :) The rep also said I'll be down for like 15 days! :( That will be really painful. I called in they offered a $5 discount on my existing bill which i did not take so they took my order to switch me to Dry line DSL.
