Verizon FiOS TV → IMG Location Issues - concerns - Availability

If this posted thread is now for all states to discuss the IMG rollout, then why is the TX thread still not locked?

The locking of all of the issue threads makes me nervous....

For those states that got the update, we know the IMG 2.0 guide sucks, and is "Beta code" at best. I'm sure everyone at Verizon is embarrassed and very sorry. Expect a nice letter of apology.

For those states that do NOT have the update, consider it a blessing and stop whining about not having it. Seriously. It's like a stick in your eye.

like calling Verizon would do any good, even when they think they know something it all changes anyway.

As of 11/15/07, not in Mercer County NJ.

No change from what I last heard. On hold Jan 08. My hunch is they release the patch in Decemeber, make sure it fixes the major issues, and then start rolling it out again.

So what's the latest news on the IMG? NY was two days away from getting it until they pulled the plug.....Channel 111 is still showing the new IMG message.

Just got off the phone with them, and......
they said that had "just" gotten an update that indicated the latest patch was rolling out to existing IMG 2.0 customers and that NY "should" see the d/l around the second week in December.

Pls don't shoot the messenger, just relaying what I was just told.

I think you will see a huge hoopla when it does happen. Seriously. No doubt we'll get 28 new threads covering one subject all asking the same questions and bitching because some have it and some don't.

I understand your enthusiasm and I don't mean to pick on you but I don't think you'll need to dig for news on the patch .

Is there any new date for PA release or is it still delayed until 2008?

I am in the DFW Area. I have seen updates to my IMG. The guide loads a little faster. When I play something from the DVR, when I am done it takes me back to the DVR Menu with that movie highlighted. Just to name a few.

As I notice additional updates, I will advise.

Could you confirm the version number of your IMG? They might have rolled out an update in your area.

No update here in Coppell, TX. HD-DVR still at build 3.40.

What was the next date for the current IMG users to get the fix upgrade?

Soonest rumored date was Nov 28

Makes sense. Nothing this week of course..next week the earliest, then maybe NY the week after (Dec 4-5th).
