Beginning today, Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey will offer the following channel to all customers:

Disney On Demand – features popular Disney Channel and Playhouse Disney series and original movies. Available on Channel 1049 for $3.99 per month.

Too Much for TV – features uncensored versions of popular television shows, comedy, specials, uncut music videos, concert performances and imported programming not available on regular television. Available on Channel 327 for $14.99 per month.

The following channel will be available in Mount Vernon:

C-SPAN 2 – features live, gavel-to-gavel coverage of the United States Senate. Available on Channel 148.
The following channels will be available in Staten Island and Woodside, Queens:

History Channel HD – offers original documentaries, epic movies, dramatic series and justice programs, bringing a comprehensive look at history throughout the ages. Available on Channel 740.

Lifetime Movies HD – features movies from a woman's distinctive point of view for and about women that connect with who they are, including romance, mystery, drama and comedy. Available on Channel 762.

I called customer care to say that I still had the same problem with that channel. The CSR put me on hold and told me the my problem would be fix by the evening because it was a problem on the TWC net.

I called to CS to report that I still had the same problem with channel 778 and the CSR transferred me to his supervisor and the Supervisor told me that TWC wasn't supposed to launch TMC HD yet and that it was a mistake that I could see TMC HD listed on my On Screen guide. He also said that Queens is the only borough which have the new HD channels in NYC so far.
