7Mbps question... possible to PPPoE with 3rd party ISPs?

Hello,

My question is simple. I know that in the past if you had Sympatico DSL is was possible to login using the username/pass of another DSL company to login in order to mainly avoid Bell's download limits.

My question is, is this still possible with 7Mbps service? I've been told it's ADSL2+ and I'm wondering if it would still work that way.

Thanks.

TSI discontinued its $10 Unlimited login and will be increasing its own Unlimited access by $10/month in January partly in prevision of global ADSL speed upgrades in 2008 and partly in prevision of more people doing exactly what you want to do here: getting 16Mbps from BS and signing someone else for TSI then using the TSI login on their 16Mbps BS line.

So, yes, alternate logins still work with ADSL2.
