3. Beat them over the head with the package until it (hopefully the package) breaks open.
4. Retrieve CD and product key.
5. Leave broken and non-recyclable package for idiot designer to think about.

I'd have to fly though - too far to drive from Michigan...

I'd have to fly though - too far to drive from Michigan...
Not a nice drive this time of year either ...

In the days before the security strip on cds and dvds they were in an extra sleave that unless opened with the special "key" at the register was virtually impossible to remove without breaking the case.
