Verizon Wireless → [General] Anybody know anything about Verizon's broadband "Day P

From the Verizon & Dell web pages I read, a person could purchase a laptop with a Verizon card and sign up for a day pass for $15 when needed, WITHOUT A LONG TERM CONTRACT. So I bought the laptop and card but now can't find any way to get a day pass without a $60/mo 2 year contract. I don't understand this. Do I already have to have a Verizon service contract of some sort for this to work? Right now it looks like I'll be returning the broadband card. I feel like I just fell off the turnip truck.

your dell manual should have a specific 800 number to call for activation of daily rate. its only available to those who buy certain laptops with embedded devices.

regular verizon stores will not be able to help you with it

if you can't find any mention of it in manual, call dell first. not verizon.
