I use 3.0 at home but at work, we are still at 2.7 and will probably remain so. 3.0 has issues with true client/server Java and the slow downs it causes makes it unusable. So far, Eset has ignored my pleas for an answer... |

I am still using 2.7,because of bugs found in 3.0 version My own testing of the latest v3.0 and ESS on my home machines indicates they're relatively bug free, a major improvement over the poorly tested earlier versions that IMHO should never have been released to the public, but I'm still using v2.7 in my work environment. I don't think they're THAT bug free yet. YMMV. A lot of people rave about how great the programs are in their present state of development. v2.7 detects just as many malwares as v3.0, so if you're happy with it, stick with it for now. |

3.0 should still be in beta testing. Rolled all the 3.0 clients back to 2.7 after too many complaints and fixes. I've been a long time user of NOD32 (50+ clients) and this 3.0 rollout (Symantec like experience) has me concerned about the future of NOD32. |

2.7 still. Haven't tried 3 due to all the negative fdbk here and wilders. The other issue is the ekrn proxy that filters http traffic and the struggles people voiced with their firewalls. Just seemed too darn complicated to try and sort out. |

Using ESS myself, no issues to report. I am running it on both XP Pro and Windows Vista Business edition. |

I'm generally right on my app updates however I'm still running 2.70.39 because of many issues & bugs reported earlier. |

2.70.31 on XP and it hasn't failed me yet |

Have used both 2.7 and 3.0 with XP Pro. Both worked fine. I'm currently using 3.0 with Vista Home Premium. No problems. I should add that I use the Vista firewall, as third-party firewalls don't always get along with my games. |

I don't see a slow down or lag installing with Nod 2.7 Comodo 3.0 Boclean, Win XP home with 1.256 GB Ram. |

I ran 3.0 when it first came out and didn't really care for it and went back to 2.7 for a whille. Running 3.0 again. Not happy with the proxy but I have it set for applications marked as browsers and email clients.
I can live with it for now. No problems yet on XP SP2. |

I'm still in the testing phase but it appears my Java slowdown issues may have been due to a corrupt installation. I subsequently exported settings from that bad installation to 2 other PCs, messing up all 3. So far, it appears that fixing the original installation and using it's exported settings is working ok... |

I wish ESET had a free version of NOD32 Antivirus
that's a good idea, don't you think? |
