Bottom line is what they have varies from system to system. Some give out Component, and some give out HDMI. Let me stress that Comcast's HDMI cables have had some problems with newer HDTVs. Seems there are handshake issues. If you aren't going to buy quality cables, take the Component cables, which most Comcast techs can supply.

they didn't even have the component...

I bought my on HDMI cable from firefold.com
