Run the tweak test at »/tweaks and post your result url here.

Since you have a SB4100, you can see your own levels. Go to »192.168.100.1/mainhelp.html and copy/paste the info on that page here and we can check your levels.

For instructions on getting your firmware for the SB4100 updated read the post at »SB4100 Upgrade Test - UNTIL 12/31/01 Only. and follow the instructions.

I have a modem that is plugged in and I'm waiting for it to sync up. I can't believe that some people in my town can get it but I can't :-( To tell you the truth I find that a little hard to believe that some places are ready. When I was at the WIZ they said the town wasn't ready. Maybe they meant my address. I don't know!! UGHH still waiting...

tweaking increased my speakeasy speeds by 4x !

also register for the firmware upgrade for your SB4100.

i just did that and got a 66% increase in OOL FTP Download speed (from 650 to 1080 KBps)!!!!

Well thanks everyone, I'll keep you updated and let you know about anything thats screws up. I am in a little town, probably the only guy on OOL! OOL was activated in my area on the 12th of December 2001.

Thank God its finally here!

Now I just got to pick up the startup kit at the WIZ so I can signup and start paying, instead of cheatin the system :-D

Gotta get a new splitter and the 50 Ft Coax!

Would hit the spot right now for faster speeds!

After my 9 Day Freebie is up, I am going to go to the Wiz and get the startup kit.. This is to slow for me. Its really fast, but I am getting jealous, because you guys are getting 5 MB a second!

Whats my problem I tweaked and everything!

But since this is a temporary connection, because I have to run a new line, I am using my current TV line, which is already split 3 times :( So I will have to run a new direct line off the first split, but is this REALLY all of the problem? I don't want to run a line for atleast after the new years, not enough time to be runnin lines right now. Is this a normal connection speeds for OOL behind 3 splits.

No wonder so many people kill em' selves around the Holidays :) Drives me crazy...

I gotta go find some gifts on EBAY let me know if I can surf any faster!

I didn't do any tweaks yet, and also I am on 3 Splits!

I just couldn't wait to install a new direct line, or install the tweaks...

This is great for me, 3 Splitters, and still fast nough.
