Choosing TV or Gift Card?

Anyone who has received the TV would rather of had the gift card?
I just had my install on Feb 26 so it will be a while before I have to make the decision. I wanted get input from others who have the TV to see if they like it.

xI don't know why anyone would pick the gift card. The TV retails for almost double so why not take the TV and if you don't want it throw it on ebay for $300?

I have had the TV for a few months now. IT's a piece of garbage. I replaced it with my old SD tube TV. IF you watch the TV from above or below it washes out. Definitely a poor quality set. You have to sit 5 feet away to see any detail. This went into the RV as a bedroom tv. IT's too small for the front TV in an RV! I would recommend taking the card, and paying the difference for a decent set.

1a) Having to put it up on eBay
1b) Possibility of nobody purchasing it
2) Get the gift card and put it towards a better or larger HDTV or something else entirely (software, TiVo, etc.)
3) I don't have space for another TV - I'd get a gift card instead if I had to make a choice

eBay is SIMPLE! They almost always sell (look out there) because it's new in the box and way less than retail. My whole block did it and wound up with $300 to spend...
