[Info] The season of auto air conditioning service is upon us ag

Before the weather gets into the muggy 90's I need to get our SUV into a local AC shop that does grade A work but doesn't charge an arm and a leg.

Ya'll have a any shop/connection recommendations for the North Dallas up thru Plano area?

Re: [Info] The season of auto air conditioning service is upon u

how did the ac work last summer??

do you have a »www.midwayautosupply.com ··· 2792.jpg

if so put the ac on the high setting and put it in the middle vent and let it run a bit or drive around and see what it is blowing out of the vents this can tell us if your system is low. I just charged a chevy truck the other day and had it blowing out @ 38 degrees

The vehicle that needs servicing is a Ford Excursion. It's a dual evaporator system running off of one compressor which we know is not adequate for a truck this size.
Each summer since 2006 the AC system has not performed as well as the year before and I've had it's pressures checked which were at spec.
I been using the digital type temp gauge which is abit more acurate that the needle style gauge

Air volume wise the blower works great it's the cold air temperature that's not as good.
