Verizon FiOS TV → Bad Guide Data

Has anyone else noticed how bad the guide data is on fios? Lots of program blocks that are blank or have only a title but no description. Even programs and movies that are populated properly have really lame descriptions. Not trying to bash fios but this is an area that sucks. Who is the fios guide data provider? I know it's not TV Guide. Seems like they're really going on the cheap in this area. Anyone have any info on whether they may upgrade at some point?

There are a zillion complaints about the guide data on this board. The guide data is provided by a company called "FYI". The TV Guide logo is only there to satisfy patent requirements for any EPG.

FYI Television (or something like that) is the guide data provider. It appears that Verizon got them on the cheap. I think we're stuck with them and yes it has been this bad for the past 2 years that I've had Fios. Tivo is you're only way out of FYI hell at this point.
